As part of its community services, Galaxy Foundation organises concerts.


July 2008


Turkey’s famous singers; Mehmet Emin Ay and Mustafa Demirci were hosted by our organisation in July 2008.


Brought from Turkey to meet with the NSW Turkish society, Ay and Demirci performed their latest sufi music collection at the Amity College Gymnasium complex to more than 400 spectators.


Representatives of the NSW Islamic Associations were also present at  the event.




February 2005


Turkey’s famous singer Ahmet Ozhan and Whirling Dervishes visited Sydney as Galaxy Foundation’s guests in February 2005.




Invited from Turkey as a result of the strong demand from the NSW Turkish society, Ahmet Ozhan and his companions demonstrated a magnificent performance at the Sydney State Theatre on 26 February 2005.


Among the audience were Liverpool MP Paul Lynch and Auburn MP Barbara Perry on the night.


Performed to 1,400 spectators from Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle and Canberra, this unforgettable concert was a great success.


While in Sydney, Ozhan and his team also visited variuos parts of Sydney and met with our volunteers at a breakfast at Amity College.
